The NYPD is looking for a driver who injured a woman with a baby in her arms and fled the scene.
On Monday, around midnight, a 37-year-old Monique knight returned with two children at the amusement Park. A resident of Staten island parked my car on Westervelt Avenue and opened the door to get the back seat of his 4-month-old nephew. Taking the baby in her arms, she saw that it rushes directly into a brown jeep Cherokee.
In a knight was only a few fractions of a second, but the woman was able to Orient correctly in an extreme situation — she managed to throw the child back into the cabin, before she was hit by a passing car.
Fortunately, the baby was not injured, and the knight escaped with a broken leg. One of the witnesses of the accident rushed to help the woman and called an ambulance.
The culprit fled the scene, but his identity will not be difficult — during a collision from the truck fell off the license plate.
