For residents of Gresham, Oregon, Halloween came early.
A truly frightened man, looking like Slender man, who walked the streets. His face was a white mask, and some witnesses even called the police.
Rose Higdon, a local resident, told Fox 12 Oregon that feel tense.
«I just froze, unsure of what seeing it. That is, it has not been clear it was a joke, or something else, you laugh or worry. He didn’t say anything, just stood and looked at me. I understand that Halloween is fun, but now I am a bit nervous,» added rose.
Slendermen (Thin man) is one of the most famous characters of urban legends, created in 2009, one of the Internet forums. The slenderman looks like a very tall man with unnaturally long limbs; one of the most striking things about him is the absolute impersonality. He is wearing a black funeral suit with white shirt and is considered a kidnapper of children, taking them to where no one returns.
Gresham police confirmed that they had received several calls regarding the Slenderman. As it turned out, it was just an actor hired for the promotion of the»House of Shadows» double fear.
«We were not going to hurt anyone, understand that people are scared, but don’t stop doing it. This is the time of Halloween,» said the employee of «House of Shadows» Nate, fults.
He added that they are considering the possibility of putting on the costume of Slenderman emblem of a room of fear, that all was clear, where did the slender man.
Perhaps they really should. In 2014, Wisconsin two high school girls stabbed a classmate, who was dressed as the Slenderman.
