On the streets of new York people fall from a drug overdose — only 50 cases

Something terrible is happening in North Brooklyn from Friday, may 18. People falling in the streets, in restaurants and stores.

According to the janitor Efrain Rodriguez, he had never seen anything like what was on Saturday near Loma coffee shop on Broadway. «They did two puffs and Bang! — immediately fell. People just fell. Here, on the sidewalk, were three, — tells reporters Rodriguez, pointing to the scene. The doctors worked until 9 PM.»

People were vomiting, it was difficult to breathe, some had lost consciousness, told the doctors.

Took me about 30 seconds to find a discarded packet of k2/synthetic marijuana next to the Big Boy Deli at Myrtle-Broadway, which appears to be shut down in the wake of last night’s mass «overdose» that sent 25 people to the hospital pic.twitter.com/lYG3cY5YbK

«It took me about 30 seconds to find a discarded package K2 [close] Big Boy Deli [corner] Myrtle Avenue and Broadway, which after a mass «overdose» last night, sending 25 people to the hospital, seem to have closed».

How did you find the staff of the police Department of new York (New York City Police Department — NYPD), the cause of the frightening spectacle was the synthetic drug K2.

Yesterday, may 21, the NYPD issued a warning to the residents of Brooklyn about the «most toxic party» of a prohibited substance, after Friday it was 50 cases of overdose:

  • 21 at 2570 Fulton Street;
  • 16 — near the intersection of Broadway and Myrtle Avenue;
  • 7 — 599 Ralph Avenue;
  • 4 — 2402 Atlantic Avenue;
  • 2 — on 2399 Van Sinderen Avenue.

The police suspects that the main points of drug distribution were the restaurants Big Boy Deli , and Star Deli and Grill in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant, on the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Broadway. Saturday 3 employees institutions — 24-year-old Radwan, Alsaedi, 26-year-old Brecklin Marsial Cortez and 22-year-old Ashraf Raisani — was arrested for illegally selling cigarettes. Cortes, which found a knife, was also charged in connection with illegal possession of weapons.

All were arrested 13 people, including the alleged dealer — Jasmine Alicia. The woman denied that he had sold the forbidden substance, and called his arrest «a big mistake».

The source of K2 is established.

«Police arrested a 42-year-old Jasmine Alicia, which, according to them, had sold K2 in Bed Stuy. On the weekends, at least 15 people were hospitalized with overdose on Myrtle Avenue and Broadway».

In July 2016 33 people were hospitalized due to an overdose of the same substance in the same area.

K2, or spice, is a chemical sprayed on tobacco and other plant based. Due to the similar effect it is also called synthetic marijuana, but in fact K2 is 85 times more powerful than cannabis. Dangerous drug is often distributed in packages under the brand names Scooby Snax Potpourri, Mr. Bad Guy and Fairly Legal Premium Natural Blend.

These are the packets the K2 that sickened 49 people in #Brooklyn are being sold in. 13 arrests have been made. People in the borough concerned!
