The situation in one of the largest cities in the United States continues to deteriorate. Two weeks ago, American society was shocked by the surge of violence in Chicago (Illinois). Then, in just 2 days 11 people were killed, 47 were injured. It seems that the current weekend can beat the «bloody record».
In just 14 hours since the second half of Friday and ending Saturday morning, the bullets hit 25 people, including 3-year-old child. Unfortunately, several people did not survive the attack. One of the shootings injured 7 people. It was during this incident a teenage boy was wounded in the leg.

The shooting occurred late in the evening of 17 August, when a group of people stood on the sidewalk. Fire was opened without warning, and the motives of the perpetrators are still unknown. Only by a miracle no one was killed, although one man was seriously wounded and is in critical condition.
Another resonant case of the use of firearms also occurred on Friday night. This time, police noticed a suspicious teenager 15-17 years and tried to stop him to ask a few questions. Then, on Saturday night in Chicago with 10 minutes of gunshot wounds received from 2 people. In one case, the victim was a 20-year-old boy and the other a 34-year-old man. Both were rescued, now they are being treated in the hospital.
The leadership of the local police Department recognizes that dealing with violence is not yet possible. Moreover, it is expected that in the coming days the number of victims is at least doubled. Residents openly wonder why the police are unable to bring the situation under control. Their surprised by the fact that, despite the 25 injured persons, the police did not detain anyone. Experts of the security sector note: the Federal government should immediately intervene in the situation, otherwise the consequences could be disastrous.
