A woman from Pensacola, Florida, was arrested after he left the child alone for 9 days without water and electricity, he told police. As it turned out, the boy lived with the man, but after an adult was arrested, he was left completely alone. He had to live without tap water and electricity a month, and the food the child asked neighbors and friends.
Assistants to the Sheriff of the County of Escambia arrested 39-year-old Autumn Lee Bid on Saturday. She was released from prison the next day. Bid charged with neglect of duty in respect of the child.
On Valentine’s Day the assistant Sheriff of the County of Escambia visited the house to verify the child’s health, writes the Pensacola News Journal. The child’s attitude to the Bid, age and home address was expunged from the police report.
The police said that a witness told the responding to the Deputy that the boy lived alone and he had not looked out for 9 days. The house had mains water or electricity from 5 to 14 February, the newspaper said.
Another witness told the Deputy that the boy asked for water. When the witness is brought home to him the water bottle, he realized that the house is not suitable for visiting children. A Deputy noted that when he entered the house, there was «a strong smell of faeces». Obviously, the child told police that he lived with a man for as long as the adult is not put in jail on 5 February.
According to the newspaper Pensacola News Journal, the boy also told the representative of law and order that electricity and water are cut off about a month ago. The boy was forced to walk to friends ‘ houses and neighbors and ask them for water and food.
The boy told police that Bede knew where he lives, but he hasn’t seen her since December 23, 2019, according to the arrest report obtained by this newspaper.
