Employees of Wal-Mart deliver orders on the way home

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. testing a new program for the delivery of goods, which include shipping of online orders by store employees at the end of their work shift on the way home. Thus Wal-Mart is trying to give Amazon.com to take the leadership in the field of e-Commerce in the field of fast delivery.

Delivery of goods paid employees more (what a rate is not specified) and is not a prerequisite for the job. Every employee having the car decide for himself whether he is ready today to earn some money on the way home. In Wal-Mart say that for wishing to work on the delivery staff pick up the shipping address, which are located on the route home. The program is a pilot, and so far tested only in three stores in Arkansas and new Jersey.

About 90% of the US population lives within a radius of 10 miles from Wal-Mart, and the company uses these places as centres of delivery, to be able to compete with Amazon. Using to provide services to their employees at times less is spent on the organization of the process and at the same time greatly increases the profit. In other words: it’s simply brilliant!
