It’s not just about posting false reviews about the product or about online store, but about removing the negative. Sellers who «cleaned up» unwanted online reviews or post fake positive reviews, will be subject to a fine, minimum of which is $ 30,000.
The new law aims at bringing the system online-shopping «in order» before the busiest day of the year is Singles Day. Chinese consumers have already made 657 million orders.
Last year, Singles Day sales have increased by nearly $ 18 billion in 24 hours.
