Survey | Americans believe in a national economy like never before

According to a new poll conducted by Quinnipiac University, Americans are confident in the reliability of the country’s economy as ever.

Two-thirds of voters (66%) said that the state of the US economy today can be characterized as «good» or «excellent.» This figure is the highest since the beginning of the Institute’s annual surveys on this topic in 2001.

Only 33% of respondents believe that the economy is in «poor» condition.

At the same time, almost half of respondents (49%) believes that those responsible for the current state of the economy should be considered as ex-US President Barack Obama. Another 40% believe that the economy today is the result of the administration of the trump.

The majority of respondents, 73%, said that can describe their current financial situation as «excellent» or «good», while 26% said their financial situation «not very good» or «bad».

The survey was conducted from 5 to 9 January 2018 1106 among voters across the country through phone calls to landlines and mobile phones. The error of the result is 3.6%.
