Chipotle promises bonuses from $250 to $1000 and other incentives to employees

Company Chipotle announced its intention to pay one-time bonuses ranging from $250 to $1,000 to all employees. It is also planned to expand the training programme and opportunities for staff paid leave to care for a child. This decision was made due to approval of a new tax plan, under which corporate tax reduced to 21%.

Bonuses and new benefits will be provided by more than 71 thousand hourly and regular employees of the company. Employees on part-time and hourly employees (on a piece-rate wage system) will be able to get a $250 bonus other permanent employees — $1000. All hired employees will be entitled to additional paid leave for child care, and hourly restaurant managers will be able to count on the life insurance and short-term insurance for disability through the company.

«We have always been proud of our ability to attract and retain talented people who share our passion for cooking delicious food manually and create extraordinary mood for the guest,» said Steve Ells Chairman and chief Executive officer of the company.

«We return a «debt» that is committed, motivated and hardworking team members who made Chipotle what it is today.»
