United States gave more time to the largest Russian manufacturer of aluminium «RUSAL» to complete the deal. In addition, the U.S. Treasury offers to lift sanctions against the company if the majority shareholder of one of the world’s largest producers of primary aluminium Rususal Plc , the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska will relinquish control over it.
Today, 23 April, aluminum prices on the London metal exchange fell more than 8%. This was the first time after the imposition of sanctions, when the company’s shares collapsed on the stock exchange in Hong Kong almost 50%.
The Finance Ministry has decided to give the aluminum giant a reprieve: it is now not June 5, and October 23 is the last date to which needs to be completed all of his business transactions.
