Ford stops the production of bestselling F-150

Company Ford has suspended production of pickup F-150 most popular vehicle in its category. This decision is due to a fire in the company — parts supplier in Michigan, which impact also on the activities of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, General Motors, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Wednesday, may 9, the F-150 stopped collecting at the plant in Dearborn (mi), and before that in Kansas city. This is a temporary measure — the production of pick-UPS will resume as soon as the user will find a new supplier of the missing parts.

Ford Motor Company believes that the current situation will not affect the business because the dealerships have a stock car for almost 3 months.

The last 40 years the F-150 is the best-selling car in the United States. Cars of this model are harvested 7.6 thousand workers. All their company sent on temporary leave with partial pay.
