The monthly magazine of the consumers Union published the results of a surveywhich attempted to find out which banks the Americans considered the most reliable and efficient in operation. All were interviewed about 72 thousand respondents.

It turned out that US residents are most satisfied with their banks and their work. Very often the positive reviews were heard in the direction of credit unions and online banks. Of was considered 148 financial institutions, among which there were 69 banks operating according to the traditional scheme, 70 credit unions and 9 of the online banks.

Among the factors that affect the position in the survey were: quality of customer service, the waiting time in the queue, the convenience of working with the site facilities and schedule of its work. It turned out that the highest rates were for relatively small banks.

The first places were two regional Bank. First Republic Bank, with their headquarters in San Francisco (California), and Frost Bank, located in San Antonio (Texas). Just below are the First National Bank of Omaha, whose main office is located in the main town of Nebraska, Omaha, and Third FederalBank, based in Cleveland (Ohio). All these financial institutions have received very high marks from its customers.

At the same time, the largest banks such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase have received more modest reviews. Among these three financial giants JPMorgan Chase is the leader and slightly behind the first lines. In this Bank, customers noted convenience of online services and mobile applications, as well as relevant advice in relation to various financial products.

Consumer Reports noted a significant increase in satisfaction among customers of different credit unions. The US population was much more likely to trust these financial institutions and the main reason was low rates on loans.

Also received high marks from its customers of online banks. Easy to operate, the openness and favorable conditions are attracting more people. Leaders among these financial institutions have become USAA, Schwab Bank.

One of the institutions with the lowest number of positive reviews was the Bank HSBC CR. More than half of its customers were dissatisfied with the level of service and efficiency of online services. Bank representatives argue that they have already started to develop a program to improve customer interaction and modernization virtual banking.
