ICE arrested the businessmen who exploited illegal immigrants in 3 States

Immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) conducted one of the largest operations in the field of national security, during which in 3 States, was arrested 147 people.

Within 15 months, the agents were investigating the activities of businesses that knowingly hired and mistreated illegal immigrants in Nebraska, Minnesota and Nevada. As found by the staff of the investigation Department of the national security Agency (HSI), some companies illegally hired foreigners, then to force them to perform work, threatening deportation. In addition, employers paying less than promised, and calculated taxes, which are not going to the state Treasury.

According to special agent Tracy George. Cormier, thanks to a well thought out scheme entrepreneurs lied to subordinates, taxpayers, and competitors.

«It reminds us of the revival of the old policy of «brand shops» that kept the miners due to their debt company for all types of services,» said Cormier.

August 8 the staff of HSI conducted a search of the enterprises in the course of which was arrested 133 illegal and 14 people in managerial positions. According to the Bureau, only 17 businessmen and managers colluded to attract illegal labor, but 3 of them are still wanted.

According to ICE, after interrogation and issuing subpoenas in immigration court agents will release those illegal immigrants who have no criminal record.
