PepsiCo will buy Israeli SodaStream for $3.2 billion

After examining the financial data of the Israeli company, the management of PepsiCo called the acquisition more than profitable. Sale SodaStream over the past quarter increased by 22%, and this means that during the year it sells more than 1 million of siphons. As for gas sales for siphons, the increase for the quarter was 17%, which will allow the company to sell 9.7 million units of the product. Immediately after the announcement of the purchase of SodaStream, its shares rose by 85%.

For market experts, this deal was not a surprise. The company partnered with 2015, when SodaStream began to produce covers for PepsiCo beverages. Finally, the purchase will be issued in January 2019 — just after the signing of the shareholders the necessary documents.
