The holiday table is cheaper in all key indices-dishes
The traditional menu for thanksgiving in the United States include:
- roast Turkey,
- mashed potatoes with gravy,
- sweet potato puree,
- bread stuffing,
- cranberry sauce,
- sweet corn,
- green peas,
- seasonal vegetables
- rolls with butter
- and pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert.
As established by the American Farm Bureau, 2018 products for the holiday dinner for 10 people will cost $48,90, or less than $5 for one consumer. Last year consumption was $49,12.
Prices decline for third year in a row. The most expensive thanksgiving Day was in 2015, when the same set cost $50,11.
«One of the reasons that dinner is on thanksgiving Day this year will be more affordable, is a Turkey — said AFBF chief economist John Newton. — The price for it is $1.36 for a pound, which is about 3% less than last year.»

The Americans lay a festive table in different ways. For many generations in different States have developed their menu.
