«I read the history of this city and schools in the Los Angeles Times. Many lost their homes, the disciples are «scattered» in different schools. One girl wrote that crying, remembering that she had to go through,» said Wilson.

The man said that he was inspired to operate his own memories of the school, which he graduated from in 1940-ies.

«I just wanted to get the kids to smile and distract from what happened. I wanted them to know that other people care about their fate. High school had a great influence on my life. In fact, even looking back on those grim years, I can say that it was the only truly carefree time,» added Bob Wilson.

According to the Director of the school of Lorena Lythall, about 900 students lost their homes during the fire that became the deadliest in California history.
