The parent company Dine Equity Inc. plans to close as many as 160 institutions in two popular restaurant chains Applebee’s and IHOP.
Dine Equity this year may close more than 100 restaurants Applebee’s and IHOP restaurants 25.
Both networks have suffered from reduced demand and customer flow in the industry, as people began to prefer cafes with more affordable prices and fast service.
The company has not yet announced which restaurants and which can be closed, as well as in this regard, employees will be without work.
According to ABC7, now worldwide employs approximately 12 000 restaurants Applebee’s and about 1700 restaurants IHOP.
