On Friday, September 1, at the new York hospital was a rape of a patient with a serious brain injury. Reported by the New York Post, citing law enforcement agencies.
The incident happened in one of the hospitals Bronx-Lebanon. About 19:45 into the chamber 32-year-old patient the nurse came in. There she found a stranger man who raped a patient.
The nurse called security and the police. It soon became clear that he was attacked by a 37-year-old Keith Nembhard, who was acquainted with his victim earlier.
The nurse explained to police that sexual intercourse occurred without the consent of the patient, because she is incapacitated due to his traumatic brain injury.
Nembhard was arrested and charged him with rape in the second degree.
It is noteworthy that this case is the second high-profile crimes committed in the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center over the past few months.
In late June, armed with assault rifle Dr. Henry Bello, who was dismissed yesterday, stormed the premises of the medical center and opened fire. Six people suffered serious injuries, one of the doctors died. Bello then shot himself.
