Hurricane Irma this morning hit the coast of Florida, and the first on the path of the storm stood the archipelago of the Florida Keys.
Authorities have reported three dead (at least). In addition, more than one million residents remained without electricity.
The first victim was a man from Key West. He died after he lost control of the truck due to the incredibly strong winds. According to ABC News, the man drove the truck generator for his house.
Two more people were killed in a car crash in Hardee County, approximately 60 miles from Sarasota. The accident occurred due to heavy downpour brought by a hurricane.
Just for the time that Irma was raging in the Caribbean, were killed, according to preliminary estimates, up to 25 people.
The national weather service is warning Florida residents that they should stay in homes, even if they think that the hurricane subsides.

The eye of the storm, or the CFAA, bullseye — the area of clarification and relatively quiet weather in the middle of a tropical cyclone. Typical the eye of the storm has a diameter of from 20 to 30 km, in rare cases up to 60 km away. This phenomenon creates a false idea that the storm is over.
Besides, as reports Associated Press, in South Florida there is a danger of tornado. Warning issued for cities in counties Monroe, Miami-Dade and Broward.
