Thursday, September 14, the campus of private Pace University in Manhattan had to be evacuated due to «terrorist threats,» reports ABC7.
On Thursday, one of the students came to the University with the original belt in the form of a bandolier in which the fake bullets look like the real thing. This caused a serious commotion among the students.
The real panic started when someone from the students notice how the fashionista dropped the belt in the toilet on the sixth floor of the campus at 1 Pace Plaza. Thinking that it’s real ammo, and the building wielding mass murderer, frightened students called the police. Meanwhile, rumors quickly spread through the University and the students hurried to leave the building, some barricaded in the classroom.
A police squad to combat terrorism, which quickly arrived on the call, evacuated the building and checked the campus.
Making sure that there is no danger, the police opened the building.

However, some students wrote in social networks that the University didn’t work out too quickly: there was no mass alert about the threat, and students and professors had to rely only on rumors.
