The driver of a fatal accident in Queens worked illegally and were jailed for drunkenness

On Monday in flushing, Queens, there was a fatal accident: 3 people killed, 16 were wounded during the accident. Today it became known that the driver who ran a red light and collided with a bus MTA, worked illegally and was once responsible for the accident because of drunk driving.

The third victim was a 49-year-old Gregory Liljefors, who was on Board the vehicle. He died in the hospital due to severe injuries.

Communications Director of the transport Department of new York city Tiffany Portzer reported that the bus company was bound under state law to notify the Department that the driver worked for the company, despite the arrest in 2015.

According to the state police Connecticut, Mong drunk crashed into a Volkswagen Jetta April 10, 2015. The culprit left the scene in his car but was later arrested. He pleaded guilty and spent six months in prison.

On Tuesday, the NYPD said they are still investigating the collision and are not yet able to say what was the cause of the tragedy. Company Dahlia refused to comment on the incident.
