Truck with 40,000 pounds of vodka overturned in North Carolina

Freight wagon, which was transporting crates of vodka, turned on one of the busiest intersections of Clayton, North Carolina. The police have tried to do everything to eliminate the accident before the start of rush hour.

Police Clayton said that the truck overturned on its side around 5:45 a.m. Thursday at the 70th highway, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the South-East from Raleigh. The witness said that he helped get the driver out of the cab of the truck so that he could get to a safe place.

It is learned that the cargo was so heavy that, when the truck tried to flip over a truck, the outer part of the truck was bent. Workers had to carry crates of vodka one by one to remove the car from the busy area.

Only 8 hours after the incident managed to clear the road from all effects. The police are investigating and have not reported who was responsible for the incident.
