The police of Las Vegas called the name of the suspect who committed the most bloody mass murder in modern U.S. history on Sunday evening. They found 64-year-old Steven Paddock, who lived in the wilderness. Read what is currently known about the shooter.
Where is he?
According to the Telegraph, the Paddock was born on 9 April 1953. From June 2016 the man lived in Mesquite, Nevada, which is an hour drive from Las Vegas. He also lived in Henderson, Nevada, and several places in California since 1990.
It is known that Mesquite is home to about 17 400 people, including several nursing homes, a casino and a Golf course.
He acted alone?
Despite initial reports of multiple shooters, the police doubts that the attack involved someone else. Sheriff Joseph Lombardo from the police Department of Las Vegas described Paddock as the «lone wolf».
Initially, officers were looking for the so-called companion hand – Marylou of denli. The police suspect that she was his roommate.

What is known about him, and what was the motive?
Police in Mesquite said that the Paddock is retired and is not a military veteran. Police have not stated that the Paddock is relevant to terrorist organisations.
«We have no idea what his beliefs, said Lombardo. – We found in the room where it is located, a lot of firearms».
The shooter had at least eight guns. The police found no criminal record except minor traffic violations in Nevada.
Who is Marylou, Durnley?
62-year-old Marylou of denli lived with Paddock in Mesquite. According to police reports, she is a citizen of Australia, but the authorities have not confirmed. According to the Australian newspaper, Durnley may be of Indonesian origin.

How was the grip?
Deputy Sheriff Kevin Mcmahill said that the shooting was carried out with 32 floors. The SWAT team used explosives to get into the room. He said: «I can’t say that he was shot by the police. He may have hurt himself by using firearms.»
