Unknown stole from the Apple store dozens of iPhone, posing as a courier

The unknown managed to trick the store employee Apple, taking with them dozens of iPhone in the amount of about 58 000 dollars. The offender introduced himself as a courier who is authorized to pick up and deliver large order, but how the thief deceived the experienced store employee – not known.

The incident occurred at the Apple store on West 14th Street near Ninth Avenue at about 9 a.m. on September 14. However, a report was sent to the police 2 weeks later. Apparently, all this time, store employees were hoping that the would-be courier will return them or phones or money.

The video from the CCTV cameras installed in the store, you can see that the suspect is a bald male, aged 45 to 55 years old, standing about 5 feet 10 inches, weighing about 195 pounds. The attacker was wearing a blue t-shirt, camouflage pants and black sneakers. After leaving the store, the man fled in a white Ford van.
