Accident on Belt Parkway: 8 people injured

The police reported that eight people were injured, including three children, when a stolen SUV crashed into two cars on the Belt Parkway the night from Saturday to Sunday.

According to NYPD, the driver of the white SUV Mercedesstolen in new Jersey, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the back of the 4-door Honda sedan, who was traveling in front of him. Moving and trying to align the car, the driver made another collision with a Mitsubishi SUV. All the victims were passengers of vehicles with which the collision occurred.

After the incident, the driver of a stolen Mercedes and jumped out of the car and fled the scene. At the moment it is wanted. In the police report that the suspect was a white or Hispanic man in a white t-shirt.

After the incident, the Eastern strip of the Belt Parkway were closed for several hours, which was long delays in traffic and congestion.
