A series of fires in Hollywood: the police are looking for the arsonist

Thursday early morning, a series of fires in North Hollywood has damaged at least five cars and a few trees. Due to the suspicious proximity of the incidents to each other and short time intervals between their appearance, the police believe that they were not accidental.

According to the Los Angeles Daily News, citing the press-Secretary of the fire Department Amy Bastman in total, there were 4 fires, the first in 5:35 in the 5900 block of carpenter Avenue and the second in 5:46 in the 5900 block of Irvine Avenue after five minutes in the 11600-block of Oxnard street and at the end the fire destroyed 4 20-foot Italian cypress and heavily damaged two cars in the 5700 block of Buck Avenue.

All 4 of the fire point located literally one block from a fire station, so the flame quickly extinguished and it is not managed to speak to residential home.

Currently, police are investigating the incident and looking for evidence of arson. One suspect is already detained and taken for questioning.
