Mother, son and daughter arrested, charged in series of armed robberies in long island

A mother and her two adult children were arrested and charged with seven armed robberies in long island. This was reported to police on Sunday.

55-year-old Deborah Salvatore and her children, 25-year-old Rick and 31-year-old Lauren macià, are charged that on 23 September to 21 October had committed 7 armed robberies in stores, Dunkin Donuts, Carvel, Family Dollar. Mother charged in one robbery, a daughter and a son – in six episodes. One of the women came into the shop and, threatening with a knife, took money from the cash register, and the son remained in the car, waiting for the return of criminals with money.

«They committed the robbery together, and now together going to jail,» said police Commissioner Suffolk County Timothy D. Blue.

The criminals were arrested during another robbery at Dunkin Donuts on Saturday.

At the moment crime family charged with 7 counts of robbery:

  • Family Dollar in Farmingville, new York on September 23 at 21.50;
  • Family Dollar in Lake Ronkonkoma, 29 September at 22.00;
  • Carvel in Farmingville, new York on 13 October at 21.55;
  • Carvel in Farmingville, new York on 14 October at 22.00;
  • Dunkin Donuts in Patchogue on October 16 at 22.33;
  • Dollar Tree in Medford17 October 21.43;
  • Dunkin Donuts in Coram on 21 October at 21.45.

The police say that all three family members suffer from cocaine addiction.
