A couple from Florida got in the mail clearly more than expected. Making a purchase on Amazon and opening a long-awaited package, inside the pair found 4 empty plastic container for 27 gallons each, and the containers filled with marijuana. Suspicions arose at the same time as the parcel got my hands on – it was a lot harder than one would assume weighed containers. Item sent from Amazon’s Warehouse came from the UPS facility in Massachusetts, and weighed in at 93.5 lbs. The total weight of cannabis loaded in plastic cylinders, made of 65 lb.
Excited buyers immediately contacted the police. The marijuana was seized. The case is under investigation. To date, no arrests had been made.
Company Amazon released a statement stating that her customer service is working towards ensuring their security and will cooperate with law enforcement authorities in the investigation of the incident.
