10-year-old boy from Ohio was taken into custody after police and a highway patrol officer chased him at speeds of around 160 km/h.
The incident occurred yesterday, October 26th, in the morning. Westlake police spotted the Toyota, exceeding a speed limit, highway Interstate 90 West of Cleveland. The amazing thing is that driving a car was… a child.
Three officers tried to stop the car, following her for 15 miles, but the driver ignored the signals, reports the Associated Press.
Then the police had to request the assistance of the highway patrol. «Two patrol cars joined the pursuit, which lasted for more than 32 kilometers at speeds of at least 100 mph (about 160 km/h),» says Sergeant Tim Hoffman.
After some time, the child still slowed down and pulled over to the side to avoid a collision with the enclosing columns. When he managed to block. «It’s a miracle that no one was hurt,» says Hoffman.
