The FBI suspected Manhattan killer terrorist ties 2 years ago

In 2015, the Federal agents questioned the terrorist that hit people in Manhattan. They tried to find out information about possible links resident of Florida , Saifullo Saipov with suspected terrorists.

According to the latest information, the U.S. attorneys opened a criminal case against a legal immigrant Saipov, accusing him of terrorist activities.

And 2 years ago FBI failed to find enough evidence to open a case against an immigrant who was suspected of having links with terrorist groups.

Saipov was listed as «contact person» for two people who were registered in the database of the counter-terrorism service of the Department of homeland security. State officials alerted the behavior of men who have often traveled on his tourist visa.

One of these suspicious types after a while disappeared. After which he began to find Federal agents as a «suspected terrorist».

President Donald trump said that Saipov was the linchpin for 23 people. A source from law enforcement bodies ABC News confirmed that number, but said that it is unknown who these people are: «nearest/distant relatives or friends«.

The indictment says that Saipov specifically chose the day of the celebration of Halloween to attack, because he thought that clico will be more people. He had planned to drive to the Brooklyn bridgeto «carry» more pedestrians.

According to the expert Rita Katz, who monitors the online activities of such organizations, the attack «fits the style» of a probable attack, which was planned by ISIS supporters across Europe.
