One person was killed and two others were injured, including 12-year – old boy during a shooting at a Chicago Starbucks on Lawrence Avenue.

The incident occurred yesterday, November 2, at about 20.10 hours.

Police believe that the shooting occurred because of a failed deal two drug dealers. Obviously, something went wrong, one of the men pulled out a gun, and the second ran to the coffee shop in an attempt to escape. There the shooter and opened fire.

28-year-old Sauvignon Watkins died on the spot, injuring 12-year-old boy and 24-year-old boy. Doctors say teen will be fine, but the injured guy is in serious condition, reports the Chicago Tribune.

The deceased Sauvignon Watkins is survived by his wife and two children aged one year and two years. «Every day he make me smile,» says the mother of the deceased, Shaun Adams. «It could be just a stupid but funny joke, whatever – it always gave me joy.»

26-year-old Kendra nance says that she was walking with her boyfriend when she heard four gunshots and then saw through the window in Starbucks a man lying in a pool of blood. «The guy tried to convince me that he’s alive, but I knew it was wrong.»

The shooting occurred in a busy district, near the St Lawrence red line CTA. Suspect still on the loose.

«Our establishment will be closed on Friday, as we continue to work with the investigators,» — said later the representatives of Starbucks.
