Unmanned buses, drove to his first trip to Las Vegas, got in an accident. Carrying «several» people bus collided with a truck traveling at a low speed, reports the BBC. Fortunately, in accident nobody suffered. According to city officials, the culprit is a truck driver, left on a main road from the alley. He will be brought to justice.

«The Shuttle did what had to be done — he stopped. Unfortunately, the human factor has worked, and the truck driver could not stop,» — said the representative of city Department of public Affairs.

The bus, operated computer system, developed by the French company Navya – the first of its kind. In the future we plan to use these drones on all public roads in the United States. The Shuttle holds 15 people and has a maximum speed of 45 km/hbut typically travels at a speed of about 25 km/h.

Officials said that the accident was minor and the Shuttle, after a quick diagnostic, most likely, will be back on the road on Thursday.

Officials emphasized that unmanned vehicles were participants in accidents before, but almost all reported incidents were associated with human error. This is not a reason to stop the development of this kind of technology, say the developers of the project. Unmanned vehicles and buses are able to make the roads safer.
