According to police, 18-year-old man who drove the car without license knocked down a mother and her two small children on the sidewalk in Far Rockaway.
31-year-old mother was walking with his children 2 and 3 years at Seagirt Boulevard, between beach beach 31 and 32, around 12:20 Wednesday afternoon when the car left the pavement.
In the police report that the woman, a resident of Far Rockaway, received a leg injury and shoulder, 3-year-old boy was injured hands, and 2-year-old child suffered a head injury. All the victims were taken to a local hospital. According to preliminary data, all the injuries are not life-threatening.
The driver, identified as Amjad Saleh from Brooklyn, remained at the scene, police said. He was charged with violating the rules of driving and driving without a license.
