In the East Tennessee old man accidentally shot himself and his wife when he demonstrated the weapon during the discussion of the mass shooting in Texas Church.

The congregation of First United Methodist Church in Tellico Plains spoke after lunch on thanksgiving. They remembered about the incident in Texas when 80-year-old man pulled out a gun «Ruger».

According to local police chief Russ Parkes, the man said, «I always carry my gun». He removed the store, pulled out the cartridges and showed all the weapons. Then loaded the magazine back and returned the gun to its holster, reports USA Today.

«But at this point came one of the parishioners who did not participate in the conversation, and asked to see the gun. And then retired, apparently forgetting that it was loaded «Ruger», cocked it and pulled the trigger,» added parks.

The bullet grazed the other the palm of the hand, and went away through the left side of the belly of his 80-year-old wife. An elderly couple was immediately taken to the hospital by helicopter.
