Above the entrance to the subway in Manhattan collapsed scaffolding: there are victims

Windy weather in new York has led to human victims. Around 11:30 at the intersection of Broadway and Prince street in SOHO, Manhattan, collapsed scaffolding, injuring four passers-by.

Victims could be much higher, given that a lot of wooden boards and debris fell right above the entrance of metro station and Prince Street. By a happy coincidence, this moment coincided with the arrival time of the train.

The footage, taken at the scene, it is clear that the asphalt is dotted with elements of the destroyed structure.

Victims with minor injuries were taken to Bellevue Hospital center.

In connection with the incident, traffic in the southern part of Prince street was temporarily blocked.

The investigation of the incident began, the police, fire Department and municipal office building. According to preliminary data, the incident brought a gust of wind that is too strong rocked the forest.
