At least three people were killed in a shooting in the Aztec High school in Aztec, state of new Mexico.
As reported by the Associated Press, according to preliminary data, two of the dead students.
Authorities said that the shooter is also dead, but there is no information about where the shooting occurred, and about the identity of the shooter – whether it is students or not.
KOB reports, the message about the shooting came into police around 9 a.m. local time. Another 15 people were injured, but this figure is also specified, and the degree of severity of the injuries.
«School evacuated. Please avoid the area. Parents should come to Church to Mesa Verde to pick up their children. With a need to have the ID», — wrote in Facebook, the Sheriff’s office County of San Juan.
It is also reported that the closure of schools in Farmington and neighboring Bloomfield as a precaution.
