Two days in San Francisco occurred two attacks of sea lions on swimmers. This part of the Bay will be closed to swimmers until the experts can figure out the reasons for the strange behavior of animals.

«The animal bit a man in the groin area. It was a very strong bite, the victim was hospitalized,» — said the representative of the Park Lynn Cullivan.

According to Gallivan, part of the Bay opposite Ghirardelli Square will be closed until Monday.

We will remind, the day before this incident, last Thursday, a sea lion attacked the man, biting his arm. The victim – Christian Einfeldt already had two surgeries.

«Yes, the animal behaved aggressively. But I was a quarter of a mile from the shore, there’s nothing I could do,» he told KGO , Einfeldt.

Lynn Cullivan says: aggressive behavior is so unusual for a sea lion that experts believe is probably the same animal. Probably a sea lion injured or sick – so so-so leads.

«People think the Bay is protected as their back yard, but in reality it is wild territory. We must remember that,» said Lynn Cullivan.
