The streets of the Bronx turned into rivers

Water main break in the Bronx has turned the streets into rivers and left hundreds of homes without water.

As reported by NBC New York, it is unclear what caused the incident. Utility workers arrived at the scene at about 7 o’clock in the morning. Now they dug up the ground, trying to find the source of the breakthrough.

By this time, water had already flooded 198th Street and Valentine Avenue in Bedford Park, Bronx, turning the sidewalks and the roadway in real rivers. So that drivers if possible, you should avoid travel to the area.

In addition, the water supply temporarily disconnected about 100 houses and eight businesses. It is expected that water supply would resume at about 18-19 o’clock in the evening.
