California law enforcement officers are searching for the perpetrator, which is almost a month of terrorizing motorists on local roads. Armed man leads a chaotic shooting at passing cars from his truck.
According to the Sheriff’s office Fresno County, in the period from 27 November to 17 December there were 10 such incidents. 8 of them took place on the outskirts of the city of Kerman, County of Fresno, and 2 in the County of Madera. As a result of the attacks, only one person injured — the rest escaped with the need to repair damage to their cars.
Typically, the shooter goes «hunting» at peak times and aims it at the vehicle heading toward him in the opposite lane. The majority of shooting incidents occurred in the morning from 6:30 to 6:40 or in the afternoon from 14:20 to 16:40.
The victims describe the offender vehicle as a dark pickup truck with extended cabin and large wheels.
Police urged residents of the above regions to exercise caution, as possible witnesses for help in catching the shooter, whose motives remain unexplained. For information which will lead to the arrest of the unknown, a reward of $3 thousand.
