Home owner in Troy, 16 kilometers from the state capital city of Albany, was found dead in their martirosyants in the basement. Police arrived and ambulance service found two women aged 22 and 36 years. In addition to adults, in the basement were found the bodies of children older women. The girl was only five years old, and her brother eleven. All four were killed with special cruelty. The names of the victims are not reported.
The local police chief John Tedesco said at a press conference that «for forty-two years of service in the police such a terrible crime have not yet seen. Especially sad that all this happened right after Christmas.»
The police has not yet reported details of the investigation. The suspects have law enforcement on the moment. It is known only that the crime was not random. The victims were chosen in advance.
Tedesco asked residents to report any oddities they’ve noticed in the past. Any information may help to trace the criminals. City Council member mark McGrath shared his opinion: «the nature of the killing indicates that the offender suffers from a mental disease.» However, the version that the city had a maniac the police are not considered. However, militiamen ask townspeople to be more vigilant.
