In one of the hotels in Houston, Texas, where be held a large-scale celebration of the New year, arrested an armed man. In his hotel room and his truck found several weapons and ammunition.
As told to NBC News, police, drunk and behaving «aggressively» the man was arrested for illegal possession of weapons hotel Hyatt Regency, where today’s planned meeting of the New year.
The security staff called the police when the man defiantly behaved in the hotel bar and refused to obey them.
According to Lieutenant Gordon Macintosh, when officers searched the room the prisoner, there was found a rifle of the AR-15 rifle, a pistol and ammunition. Several weapons found in the car of the man, whose name has not been disclosed.
The prisoner is in jail, investigators wait for him to sober up for questioning.
The annual party at the Hyatt Regency is one of the most mass celebrations of the New year in Houston. It runs on four floors, and at midnight, on-site release of 50 thousand balloons.
