A fire in the Bronx: 12 victims

Tuesday at 5:30 a.m., the fire Department of new York received a report of a fire in 1547 Commonwealth Ave in the Bronx.

The flames had engulfed the four-storey building. The fire started on the ground floor that housed a furniture store. The fire quickly spread to the upper floors.

In the elimination of the disaster involved six cars and two hundred employees of the FDNY. All residents evacuated. At least twelve people were injured in the fire. Fortunately, their wounds were not life-threatening.

Rescuers asked the residents of neighboring houses to close Windows to prevent ingress of smoke and ash.

Recall that on 28 December in the Bronka fire claimed the lives of twelve people. Four more are in serious condition.
