Two killed in crash on new Jersey turnpike

This Saturday in the early afternoon occurred an accident on the toll road new Jersey turnpike.

The accident occurred between exit 8 and 8A about an hour a day in Hamilton township, County of Mercer.

Head-on collision, according to police, was caused by 41-year-old Mickey Morris of Hamilton township, who was traveling in the opposite lane for a car Toyota Corolla.

The driver crashed into a car Hyundai Elanta, at the wheel which sat the 23-year-old Katharina Ordonez from Newark.

The car was seriously damaged in a collision, the impact was so strong that the entire hood and windshield of the cars was completely crushed and the car launched.

Both drivers were found already dead on the crash site.

The road was closed to investigate the incident, but later opened. Police reported that the investigation will continue, as the reasons for the departure of the drivers on the oncoming lane is not clear.
