School bus with children inside rolled over on one side after a collision with a car in Brooklyn. The accident occurred at about 3.30 PM on Bay Ridge Avenue and 10th Avenue in Dyker Heights.
Witnesses to the accident told reporters that the bus was carrying the driver, assistant and five children. Fortunately all of the injuries sustained by the bus passengers and the driver are minor, their life and health threatens nothing. From the overturned bus all the victims were able to escape on their own.
The cause of the collision are not yet clear. The car remains at the scene, he significantly damaged.
The Department of education issued a statement in connection with the incident:
«FDNY and EMS immediately responded to a serious incident with a bus, which happened today in Brooklyn. No damage had been reported, the school families informed of the incident, we provide them with additional support.»
