The stranger sprayed acid in the face of the woman in Staten Island. The incident took place on January 8. The victim suffered second-degree burns on the face and scalp.

According to police, 52-year-old woman went on Woodrow Road near Carlton Boulevard around 11:30 PM when she was approached by a stranger. The intruder asked if the victim cigarettes or money, and then asked the time. Suddenly a criminal sprayed into the victim’s face with acid, and then fled the scene on a Bicycle.

The victim was hospitalized, at the moment she is being treated in the burn unit.

What kind of material sprayed from the spray criminal is not yet clear. The latter described him as a caustic liquid, which caused burns. The reasons for the attack are also not installed.

A criminal is wanted, however, it is not known to many. The police assume that her age is about 40 years.
