In Iowa arrested two teenagers, 12 and 13, accused of corruption tens of hives, which killed half a million bees.

At the end of December 2017 boys broke into the farm, Wild Hill Honey in Sioux city (Sioux City) and damaged 50 beehives as a result, about 500 thousand of honey bees perished from the frost.

Farm owners Justin and tori Engelhardt, said that its «absolutely senseless» crime juvenile vandals struck the apiary damages in the amount of $60 thousand.

«They broke into the barn, pulled out all our equipment and threw it into the snow, broke everything they could. It’s not like something was stolen, as everything was broken or destroyed», — told reporters discouraged by the beekeeper.

The Engelgardts did not expect that criminals will be caught, but thanks to the attention of the outraged public, managed to do it.

To help Engelgardts launched a GoFundMe page, where for several days managed to collect more than $30 thousand. This sum will be enough to spring Justin and tori was able to start their own business.

The arrested Teens charged with 3 counts: disorderly conduct, assaulting farm animals and burglary.
