At the Mall Eagle Ridge in Lake Wales, state of Florida, last night triggered two improvised explosive devices.
As reported, police and rescue workers arrived on the scene, the explosion occurred in a service corridor store JCPenney. Fortunately, no one was hurt. After police arrived the Mall was immediately evacuated and a perimeter set up barriers, reports ABC News.
According to the Deputy chief of police Lake Wales Troy Schulze, when bomb experts inspected the room, they made another disturbing discovery. «There was a backpack in which there were five or six other improvised explosive devices,» said Schultz.
Investigators are searching for the suspect. According to Schultz, several witnesses spoke about the chunky middle-aged man in a gray shirt and gray hat, who ran away.
In addition, investigators collect all the videos from surveillance cameras of a shopping center. Police urged anyone with information about the incident to report it.
«The explosions were deadly. Lucky in a service corridor at this time there were no people,» said Troy Schulze.
