The year has just begun, but already strive to become the record for the number of crimes involving firearms in American schools. The last one, shooting in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, deserves a place in the list of the most deadly mass killings in recent US history.

Death toll: 1 wounded

How it was: 16-year-old shooter with a semiautomatic pistol 38 caliber wounded 15-year-old student in the school cafeteria

3.When and where: January 22 Charter school in New Orleane, Louisiana

Death toll: 1 wounded

How it was: unknown wounded in the arm and 14-year-old student in the school Parking lot

4.When and where:January 23, Marshall County High School, Brenton, Kentucky

Death toll: 2 killed, 1 wounded

How it was: 15-year-old student opened fire with a pistol on school grounds

5.When and where: 1 middle school Salvador Castro, Los Angeles, CA

Death toll: 2 injured

How it was: 12 year old girl brought a gun to school and accidentally shot. 2 15-year-old victim was wounded in the arm and head.

6. When and where: February 5, Oxon Hill High School, Maryland

Death toll: 1 wounded

How it was: 17-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition after attempted robbery with a firearm. The incident happened in the school Parking lot.

7. When and where: 14 Feb Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, FL

Death toll: 17 killed, number of wounded is being specified

How it was: 19-year-old former student opened fire with the AR-15 rifle near the school, then moved on campus and shooting indiscriminately.
