For the first 30 minutes of existence page GoFundMe created for the victims of the shooting in high school Marjory Stoneman Douglas we collected $100 thousand, and during the subsequent hour – $75 thousand.

On the establishment of a formal charity account announced live the warden school district Broward Robert W. Runci. During the press-conference dedicated to the tragedy that occurred in Valentine’s day, Runsi stressed that the purpose of local authorities is to raise $300 thousand.

In the description of the page says that donations will go to providing financial support to the victims and their families.

«There are no words to Express the sorrow that we all experience,» – said in a statement on the website GoFundMe.

During the first two hours more than 3 thousand people have donated that amount of money considered necessary. In addition, many of them wrote public messages, with words of condolences.

At the moment the page has already attracted more than $400 thousand and your contribution has made about 7 thousand people.

Yesterday, 14 February, 19-year-old Nicolas Cruz opened fire on students of high school in Parkland (FL). According to police, the shooting was planned with the utmost precision: the shooter, armed semi-automatic rifle AR-15, pulled the fire alarm and waited, when his victims begin to run out of the classes in the corridors.
