A teenager from the city Spartanburg (South Carolina) published in the social network Snapchat photo with the caption «Round 2 in Florida: tomorrow«. The masked man was holding a weapon similar to an assault rifle. It is reported by the NY Post.
One of the students ninth grade Broome High School learned his classmate and showed the photo to my father. The parent in turn contacted the police.
«The district would like to thank the student who filed the information. You need to have some courage to speak, but it can and will prevent tragedies,» said supervisor third district Kenny Blackwood.
One of the students at Broome High School, graduate Chloe Gentry, told reporters that after the news at school, everyone was on pins and needles. Some parents came for their children to take them home.
The police raided the house of minors, the teenager, whose name remains unknown. The boy’s parents allowed the officers to search the home. The Sheriff’s office reported that the house was found a mask with an air rifle similar to the assault.
The suspect assured the police that the message in Snapchat was a joke, and he had no intentions to cause anyone harm. Despite this guy delivered in branch of police at Greenville and charged with harassment. A hearing on his case will be held on Friday, February 16.
